That place is DELICIOUS!
Same order at Mutual Pharmacy in BSG would have been about $8 (really) and it's very good too, that's why I eat there so much....good and cheap, two of my favorite things. Only open for breakfast and lunch though.

You go downtown, then you're at the federal courthouse and post office. Mutual is right next to it. Across Ball's TV and Red Flower Chinese.
I don't care what it costs....the Dari Barn is awesome! I go there every time I'm home. I don't think I've ever paid more than $10 for a burger, fries, and a shake there...and for what you get I think that's more than worth. Just my opinion
Right, can't miss it. They have a hot bar with limited selection but very good prices also. I can eat breakfast for like $3.50.

Pretty sure the "hoss" did it.
The Hoss was $5, wife's burger with bacon and cheese was right at $5 (bacon adds 95 cents). So maybe $10 for the burgers. I think the shakes were $2.75 each. So $15.50. Does the town have that high of a meal tax? $2-2.50 tax on a $15 order?
I can get a 1 lb burger in Kingsport for $6 (Mike's Intimidator @ Purple Cow).
